WILD GmbH & Co. KG

German company WILD GmbH & Co. KG is one of main worldwide producers of components for production of food products.

Its activity in food trade is based on two main branches – production of ingredients for food industry and beverages as well as a sale of its own ready and brand-name products. One example is a soft drink: Capri Sun, which is sold in more than 100 countries, including Poland.

The company was founded as Zick-Zack Werk Rudolf Wild by Rudolf Wild in Heidelberg (Germany) in 1931. It was moved to neighbouring city Eppelheim 6 years later.

In 1956 Wild took over Hamburg company: SiSi-Werk which, before World War II, was one of the most important producers of essences in Germany, and then Wild started production of banner ready product Capri Sun in 1969.

In the seventies of XX century Wild started its activity in other countries, initially in Switzerland and the USA. Since then the company has spread over a worldwide group governed by Hans-Peter: Rudolf Wild's son.

Wild section employs 2500 employees at present, whereof 1400 employees is employed in company headquarters in Eppelheim in Germany.
